Ordinaria tickets are for Trenitalia's Regional trains only.

Ordinaria ticket price based on class and journey time.

No need to book Ordinaria tickets in advance. (Suggest booking other tickets up to 6 months ahead)

Base tickets

Equal to the standard full-price tickets on Le Frecce and Intercity trains.

Unlimited changes to date, time, and class of train ticket for free. Price difference, if any, must be paid.

Refunds available with 20% withholding fee.

Economy tickets

Nonrefundable.

One change for date or time is allowed, within the same train type and class. Price difference, if any, must be paid.

Can not be combined with other reductions except for child discounts.

Super Economy tickets

The cheapest option apart from regional tickets, but least flexible.

Nonrefundable and non-exchangeable.

Can not be combined with other reductions except for child discounts.
