• Luggage: South Western Railway does not specify a limit, but your luggage should be kept out of aisles, wheelchair spaces or doorways.
• Bicycles: Some trains don’t have dedicated storage areas for bikes, so space is limited. Pre-booking a space isn’t required. E-bikes are permitted, but e-scooters are not allowed.
• Children: Under-5s travel for free, and 5–15-year-olds get 50% off. Most fares are also half price for 16–17 Saver Railcard holders. Within London fare zones, Zip Oyster photocards are accepted for travel.
• Pets: No more than two pets can travel with you. They must be on a lead or in a carrier.
• Passenger Assist: You can request help for your journey (e.g., alighting the train, etc.) at any point, but pre-booking at least two hours before your train is advised.
