Departing from London Bridge
London Bridge station can be found on Tooley Street, in between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, it’s also located right beside The Shard; the tallest building in Western Europe.
It has a taxi rank, a bus station directly outside the main entrance, and bus stops along Tooley Street. The station has its own London Underground station, which is connected to the Jubilee and Northern lines, not to mention the Windrush line on the London Overground.
Main stops
There is only one stop from London Bridge to London Charing Cross: London Waterloo East. This may change, so it’s best to double-check before you travel.

Arriving at London Charing Cross
London Charing Cross can be found amongst one of the most iconic areas of London. Located on The Strand, it’s a very accessible station for the rest of the city. It has its own dedicated tube station on the London Underground that serves the Bakerloo and Northern lines. Plus, it’s very close to Embankment tube station, which serves the Northern, Bakerloo, and Circle & District lines.
There aren’t many better stations to arrive at than London Charing Cross. It could be considered the epicentre of the UK’s capital, as there are so many renowned sites nearby. There are links directly from here everywhere in the city. Trafalgar Square, The National Portrait Gallery, The National Gallery, and Leicester Square are just above Charing Cross. Buckingham Palace and St James’ Park can be found in the West, while Covent Garden, Somerset House and King’s College London are to the East.
Southeastern train classes
- Standard Class: Comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. There are also tables and power sockets for your devices.
- First Class: There are no London Bridge to London Charing Cross First Class tickets. This is because Southeastern abolished its First Class service in 2022.

- Luggage: Bags and other luggage items are permitted. Luggage must weigh no more than 23kg. No more than two large suitcases.
- Pets: Dogs, cats, and other small animals can travel for free. Dogs must be on a lead. Other animals must travel in carriers. There is a maximum of two pets per passenger.
