It takes only twenty-three minutes to get from Gravesend to London St Pancras International with Thameslink.
You’ll begin your journey near the mouth of the River Thames at Gravesend. Before arriving at St Pancras International Station, you’ll travel across Kent and into Greater London.
Thameslink provides a vital north-south rail connection across London, linking destinations such as Luton and Cambridge with the capital. The service travels through central London, making scheduled stops at key stations, including London Bridge and City Thameslink.

Arriving at London St Pancras International
St Pancras International is located in the borough of Camden along Euston Road. It is the primary terminus for the UK’s only international rail link through Eurostar, which links the UK with the broader European continent.
It’s a handy station to arrive at as it has excellent connections that can get across London quickly and conveniently, minimising any fuss after a long journey. It’s only a two-minute walk from St Pancras to Kings Cross London Underground Station, which serves the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, and Victoria lines. For example, if you need to get to Heathrow Airport, you can take the Piccadilly line straight from Kings Cross Underground and go directly to Heathrow in approximately fifty minutes.
Meanwhile, King’s Cross Station and London Euston Station are nearby, perfect for onward rail connections around the UK. Local buses and taxis are aplenty along Euston Road, too, right outside St Pancras Station.
There’s lots to do around St Pancras International if you fancy a spot of sightseeing after your journey from Gravesend. The British Museum and British Library are close by, and Lord’s Cricket Ground, Regent’s Park, and the Charles Dickens Museum are only a tube ride away, too. Plus, some of London’s ritziest hotels are nearby if you fancy some shut eye.
