Departing from London St Pancras International
London St Pancras is one of the UK’s most well-known stations. It’s an excellent station to depart from, surrounded by fast and reliable public transport, which makes getting around London easy. Eurostar, Southeastern, East Midlands Railway, and Thameslink use St Pancras International.
It’s easy to reach by buses and taxis that stop along Euston Road. The nearest underground station is Kings Cross, which serves the Circle, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines and from there it’s only a two-minute walk to St Pancras International.
Main stops
There are three stops between London St Pancras International and London Bridge: Farringdon, City Thameslink, and London Blackfriars.
These stops may change due to essential maintenance, scheduling alterations, train faults, or poor weather. It’s best to plan ahead and check before you travel to avoid disappointment.
Arriving at London Bridge
Located in Southwark, south-east London, on the river's south bank, London Bridge Station is an easy, quick, and convenient station to arrive at. It’s connected to all kinds of public transport and ongoing rail connections to get you wherever you need to be.
For starters, the station is linked to its own London Underground station, which serves the Jubilee and Northern lines, meaning you can get anywhere quickly. Also, taxis conveniently wait outside the station’s main doors and along Tooley Street. A bus station is located directly outside the station’s upper-level entrance.
Southeastern, Thameslink, and Southern all serve this station, providing access to South East London, Bedford, Brighton, and other destinations in Kent and Sussex. This makes it ideal for onward connections by rail.

- First Class: A London St Pancras International to London Bridge First Class ticket is available on Thameslink services. However, it’s worth considering that this journey is only fourteen minutes long.
Thameslink train travel advice
- Luggage: Maximum of three items of luggage. This goes up to two larger items and one smaller bag.
- Pets: Dogs, cats, and other small animals can travel for free. Dogs must be on a lead. Other animals must travel in carriers. Extra pets cost half the adult fare. There is a maximum of two pets per passenger.
- Bicycles: Bikes can be stored free of charge, but space is limited. There is no need to pre-book.
